Error message: Hexadecimal value 0x1E, is an invalid character

Program version: 2013-02

The following error message may appear when you try to synch the desktop data file to the cloud:

", hexadecimal value 0x1E, is an invalid character.

System.Xml

To fix this issue, you need to figure out the setup item it’s referring to. For example, if the error’s referring to pesticides, it means there’s an invalid character in the pesticide setup. (The invalid character may appear to be a small square where a special character used to be.) Once you’ve deleted the character, you should be able to synch your data file.
